iPass Worldwide Roaming
We are delighted to offer worldwide access to the Internet. Through the
iPass consortium, interLink provides local Internet access in over 8,000
locations worldwide. Pricing is extremely affordable, averaging
around 3 cents per minute in the US.
To take
advantage of this service, you need to download the iPass Dial Wizard.
Here are the available versions:
Installation
Once you have downloaded the appropriate file, double-click on it to
launch the installation program. This will automatically install the iPass
Connection Wizard and put an icon for it on your desktop. For PDA
installation, follow the instructions in the installer, or see the Users
Guide. PLEASE
NOTE: Windows 95 Users: When you install iPass
Connection Wizard, you may receive a message saying that a newer version
of Dial Up Networking is required. You can obtain version 1.3 of
Dial Up Networking from Microsoft at this
address. You can also download it from our server at this
address.
To use the iPass Connection Wizard, double-click the icon and follow
the prompts. It will ask you to select a country and city for your local
access. When it asks for your user name, use the same user name you use to
access interLink Hawaii. For the "domain", enter "ILHawaii.net".
That's all there is to it!
Pricing
Your account will be charged a one-time transaction fee of $5 (five
dollars) for each month in which you use the service. In addition, you
will be charged an hourly fee which is determined by the location from
which you access the Net. Your dialer will show you the hourly fee
when you select the location.
Billing is done to a one-second interval, so you only pay for the time
you actually use.
Your interLink account will be billed automatically for your iPass
usage. |
