Creating A Personal Web Page

This course is designed for novice web designers who want to launch a personal web site quickly without learning HTML.

The course is based on Microsoft Front Page Express, which is freely available.

The class is hands-on, with one computer per student. The course consists of 3 2-hour sessions. Normally we give the course from 6:30 - 8:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please check the email announcement for dates and locations.

The computers at our training facility are running Windows.  If you have either Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT or 2000, you'll be able to transfer what you learn in this course to your home computer.

Prerequisites:

• interLink Hawaii subscriber, able to log in to the Internet using our service.
• Familiar with the Windows environment, able to navigate using the mouse and keyboard, able to run programs and open and save files.
• Must have Microsoft Front Page Express and Web Publishing Wizard installed on your computer. These are available on interLink's CD software, version 1.7a and later.
